Chinese Textile Machinery Brands Accelerate Global Expansion with Core Technology

Shishi, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese textile machinery manufacturers are stepping up global expansion in 2026, driven by independent R&D breakthroughs and high-quality product upgrades, with core components localization rate reaching new highs.

Shishi-based Zhenfu Textile Machinery is set to mass-produce four new high-end circular knitting machines in 2026, including a 26-gauge plush jacquard model and an environment-friendly non-compound plush machine. The latter innovates production processes to avoid fabric adhesion with glue, improving the environmental friendliness and warmth of double-sided fabrics. The company has achieved 90% localization of core components, with annual output exceeding 1,500 units and products exported to over 30 countries and regions worldwide. Meanwhile, Qingdao-based enterprises have launched new intelligent automatic winders with 72 spindles, featuring high efficiency and flexible bobbin processing systems, further boosting China’s textile machinery competitiveness overseas.

 

Analysts predict that with continuous R&D investment and international market layout, Chinese textile machinery brands will further expand their global market share in 2026.
